The Challenge

Coordinating schedules, shift attendance, compliance records, and payroll data for over 3,000 employees spread across multiple clients and sectors in Dubai was a massive challenge. Manual data entry in spreadsheets frequently resulted in roster overlap, payroll calculation errors, and slow productivity reviews, which delayed operational adjustments.

The Solution

I developed a centralized SQL-backed relational database structure connected to Microsoft Power BI. Through Excel VBA macros, I created automated data validation modules that:

• Flagged scheduling overlap conflicts during input, ensuring roster safety.
• Directly validated payroll records against active shift data structures.
• Calculated monthly employee performance indexes to automatically highlight top performers.

Outcomes & Results

• Eliminated scheduling conflicts entirely, saving 40+ hours of manual corrections every single month.
• Achieved 100% data compliance for audit records, removing payroll risk penalties.
• Established automated visual performance reports, facilitating prompt operational pivots.
